The Cavalry Series is one of Sun Welding's premier line, offering the best in home security. It's solid 3/8" steel plate door and solid 3/16" body is one of the most superior in the industry. Offering a Group II combination lock or Electronic lock. The lock is protected by a 1/4" hard plate plus 1/2" absorption plate, to resist from impact, drilling, or punch attacks. In addition, the independent bolt works are protected by two spring loaded re-locking systems which lock the entire bolt works together.

The Cavalry also comes standard with fire insulation for protection rated at 1200 degrees for 30 minutes (up to 2 hours available). The UL fire insulation protects all six interior surfaces. The door is sealed with a heat expanding seal, swelling up to eight times its size.
A fully adjustable interior is standard and available in several different options. Designed to maximize your interior gun capacity while also providing the most shelving space available.

The finishing touch is the hand applied artwork. Exterior finish comes in your choice of ten different colors.

very satisifed

Just saw your sales area at last weekend gun show, although apparently I have missed you at gun shows in past years. I purchased a safe from Sun Welding 15 years ago and have been very satisifed. Excellent finish to this day. Mechanical parts always function without flaw. Had burglary four years ago, with two thieves spending more than half hour trying to break into my safe - mounted in living room corner. They didn't have saws or drills, but with crow-bar from my garage tool shed tried to wedge door from hunges, or door from sides. Paint was marred/chipped and door was set ajar, but they couldn't break into safe. They ruined plaster on two walls trying to pry it away, but with it anchored through walls of adjoining rooms, as well as the floor, they failed to carry it away. The safe still operates and used, although door sticks slightly when opening. While the anal oritices failed stealing it's contents, sadly I had not put other non-replaceable vaulables in the safe, which they got. Lesson learned: criminials don't think like us. We are gentle with our homes. If they have the time, they don't mind tearing apart a front door and mail slot to enter, rip locked doors and drawers open, and tear walls. Also, get a burglar alarm and use it. As a police office recently afe, people with alarms still get robbed because they get alzy and don't turn on the alarm.

The motion sensor component was not shipped with the safe and the plastic cover for the wire connection of the button - where it connects to the transformer was cracked up and fell apart in my hand. Otherwise - what a beautiful safe - I am ecstatic with it and will be recommending your company and safes to others. Sun Welding response: Customer was shipped a replacement button and motion sensor next day.

SOLID STEEL PLATE

Sun Welding offers a solid 3/8" door and 3/16" body on the Cavalry Series. The door frame is made from a solid 3/16" frame for added security. Sun Welding doors won't flex like composite drywall doors. The door is recessed for additional security. EXTERIOR FINISH

INTERIOR FINISH

Sun Welding fabric lines the six interior walls with 5/8" fire board. See our fire 'Fire Rating' tab for more information. Then we hand build each interior from solid 3/4" particle board. It is then finished a velour fabric (variety of colors to choose from). With three standard rifle configurations to choose or a solid collector shelf interior we have the interior for you. BOLT WORKS & LINKAGE

Sun Welding's independent mounted bolting system stops a wide variety of attacks. Using a cam drive system to gear the linkage these parts will not break under pressure. The Cavalry Series offers up to fifteen 1" diameter locking bolts (6 active each side, 2 top, and optional bolt at bottom). FIRE RATING

The fire test was performed with a safe being placed in an oven that was 1200_. At 'x' minutes the internal temperature of the safe reached 350_. The overall burn time of a safe in a fire depends on many different factors such as the temperature of the fire and the length of time the fire burns around the safe. The safe door also includes a smoke seal around the door to prevent smoke from entering the safe.

Local Pick Up: Sun Welding will assist with the loading of the safe into the back of a trailer, pick up or SUV. We suggest you bring moving pads and tie down straps, as the safes do not come standard foam, boxed, or on a pallet. We offer theses items at an additional charge. The purchaser is responsible for tying down the safe as they see necessary. If picking up with a pick up or SUV Sun Welding will only lay the safe on its back for transportation. Having the safe on a pallet is not recommend as it is more difficult for the user to maneuver, unless you have a pallet jack at the end location.

Out of Area Shipping / Delivery:

What to expect at delivery? The freight carrier offers standard curbside delivery, typically with a 48' semi truck. Other arrangements for a small truck (pup tuck) can be made along with garage delivery. The freight carrier will remove the pallet from the back of their truck using a lift gate and place the pallet on your driveway. At that point it is the customers responsibility to move the freight inside the home. The freight carrier will not remove the safe from the pallet or remove any of the package materials. If you would like more information on delivery, have a long drive way, or any other special request please call 805-584-6678.
Standard Freight Costs: All products weighing 100 pounds or less are shipped via USPS standard or FedEx ground and will be delivered to your business or residential door. For products weighing 101 pounds to 3,000 pounds our standard shipping & handling cost includes all of the following:

Lift gate included (to lower the safe to the ground) at curbside.
Residential curbside delivery.
Safe is steel banded and bolted to a pallet, foam, and wrapped in a cardboard box. Double box is an available option.
